About Us

We are three guys, retired RNs, who collaborate in writing books. We have one book so far, but three more are in the works; one is a case study of alcoholism combined with Asperger's Syndrome (in the same person), the second is all about Dan's experiences in a third world country, and the third deals with borderline personalities.  Don't try to hold your breath until we get them all finished.

Our Business

is trying to pass on a few years of experience to make life easier for nursing students and new nurses. We want to spare you the frustration of trying to find some of the more ethereal information which you can easily find in our book.  You may never need some of it, but it is here in case you should ever need it.

Who We Are

Jean Chartrand is a guy and just happens to have a French name. Everybody calls him John. Sometimes people call him other names. He lives with his daughter, his dog, and six cats. He's weird.

N.C.Cleary is a guy who survived twenty-some years of being a drunk. He has been sober for more than thirty years. About five years ago, he found out that he has been a high-functioning autistic for his whole life. (Asperger's Syndrome)

Dan Reid has been a soldier, a sailor, a circus clown, and a nurse. His life hasn't always been a barrel of laughs but he says that he has never been bored. He thinks he is special because he has the same name as the Lone Ranger's nephew.
